I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1964. My dad was a Squadron leader in the RAF, so we moved around the country a lot and even had a spell in Singapore!! I am the youngest of 4 children, two boys and two girls. I trained as an RGN Nurse in 1982-1986 in Bradford West Yorkshire, which is where I met my husband Tim.
We were married in 1986 and were part of a thriving church in Bradford. Our two daughters Holly and Harriet were born and life was good.
In 1998 we started leading a church in Harrogate North Yorkshire, and within a year had moved the family to the lovely town of Harrogate. We led the church there up until 2015 where we left the church with a new leadership team, and we set out on an itinerant ministry, which has been an exciting adventure of growth and faith.
Our two daughters both love God, Holly our eldest is a Primary school teacher in Harrogate and a born evangelist, our youngest daughter Harriet lives in Bristol and is a Nutritional Therapist and influencer. We are so proud of them both.
I was saved at a young age, baptised in water and the Holy spirit and walking with God. However, I had never really known God as my Father. My life changed radically when I started to believe what My Father God really thought and spoke about me and that he was GOOD all the time.
I realised that I was his adopted daughter. That I’m was his delight!! What? Me? This truth and revelation started to change everything for me.
I discarded shame. I made choices in line with his truth, and aimed to be the best me I can be. I have walked through pain and heartache. I have found my faith to be real, completely non-religious and totally authentic (I gave up trying to be someone I wasn’t).I have found hope in the trials, I have learnt to trust him in the desert and rejoice at all times (I’m still working on this one).
God has healed our marriage and our family… I am forever grateful for his outstanding love and faithfulness, and will spend the rest of my life testifying to that and helping release others into a deeper relationship with their Dad, and living free
